Roundit® 2000NX EMI Cu/Ni Flame Retardant Wrap-around Protective Sleeving
Applications
Roundit® 2000NX EMI Cu/Ni is a wrap-around sleeving designed for mechanical protection and EMI shielding of wire and cable bundles. The outer layer which supplies the abrasion resistance is anufactured from PPS monofilaments and Nomex™ with an oil and water repellent treatment, while the inner layer is made of nickel plated copper which provides EMI insulation.
The outer layer construction with 100% covering ratio provides excellent cut-through and abrasion resistance. Roundit® 2000NX EMI Cu/Ni is also available with an internal layer of PTFE tape thus allowing wire harnesses to be protected from the metal. This self-wrapping feature allows for quick and easy installation or removal of the product for assembly and maintenance.
The design offers innovative solutions to the protection of break-out areas and also provides ease of removal when inspection or maintenance of cables is necessary. As an additional benefit, Roundit® 2000NX EMI Cu/Ni enables users to stock a limited range of sizes to cover a wide range of cable and wire diameters.
